ALL ABOUT THERAPY
First of all - welcome. My name is Annie Looby and I am a qualified Counsellor, Gestalt Psychotherapist and Facilitator of the Hoffman Process and Love Code. My aim is to provide a safe refuge, where together, we can explore any issues which may be hindering your ability to experience true happiness...a safe place to process, express and heal that which needs to be healed.
Do you want to be free of repetitive limiting patterns? Do you want to live your best life? Do you want to resolve issues from the past? Do you long to feel whole?
My intention is to empower clients to tap into their innate wisdom and ability to heal. With influences of Gestalt, Existential and Psycho-dynamic theory, each client is met with kindness, presence and honesty in an environment that encourages deep self-enquiry and self-compassion.

We are such complex beings, us humans. We are all unique products of our individual social, biological and environmental conditioning. From birth to death we evolve in multiple directions and dimensions and for this reason I use an integrative, flexible approach in order to more accurately meet your individual needs.

ABOUT ME
Annie Looby
Annie offers sessions from her peaceful property in Oxford Falls (Sydney Northern Beaches), face to face, via phone or online. She studied Counselling and Applied Psychotherapy at the Jansen Newman Institute in Sydney (Graduate Diploma) and is a Certified Gestalt Psychotherapist (The Relational Institute of Australia). In order to stay abreast of contemporary best practice, she continues to develop her psycho-therapeutic skills in further study in Eco-therapy, Internal Family Systems and ongoing professional development with the Learning Love Institute.
She believes wholeheartedly in the ability of all people to evolve and grow and views her role as a therapist like a benevolent witness guiding her clients toward their own inner wisdom, while holding a therapeutic space of loving kindness.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Annie has a deep faith in the ability of human beings to heal themselves. Common to most people is a deep core shame that inhibits their ability to live fully, with access to the full range of emotion and experience. Annie creates a safe space where she supports you in the exploration, expression and ultimate healing of this woundedness, so that you can begin to make space for the expansive, unconditioned essence of who you truly are to shine.
COUPLES THERAPY
Psychologist, John Welwood, describes relationships as a 'spiritual crucible'. Our intimate relationships can be our best teachers. In Annie's lived experience of a 32 year marriage , this has been undoubtedly true. Through deep listening and presence, Annie guides and supports couples to turn towards each other with understanding and compassion with the aim of allowing the sacred space between them to become the healing bridge that reconnects one to the other.
LOVE CODE WORKSHOPS
At Love Code Workshops, we specialize in helping couples build stronger connections and deeper intimacy. We offer a range of activities and exercises that are designed to help you and your partner connect on a deeper level. Our goal is to help you build a stronger foundation for your relationship, so that you can enjoy a lifetime of love and happiness together.
Out beyond ideas of wrong-doing and right-doing there is a field. I will meet you there.
